Chrissy Teigen shares an emotional tribute to the deceased son Jack.

On Tuesday, September 28, the 35-year-old star took to Instagram to honor Jack a year after her and her husband John Legend suffered the painful loss of pregnancy. The one-year anniversary also fell on National Sons Day 2021.

Chrissy had shared a carousel with photos earlier in the day as a tribute to Sons Day miles, 3, and she also joked that maybe one day Miles might compare this post to National Daughters Day, which she had recently done one for Luna, 5, on Saturday, September 25th.

Then the Lip Sync Battle co-host shared a photo from a year ago of sobbing in her hospital bed as John comforted her. At the time, she was 20 weeks pregnant.

“And for the son we almost had,” Chrissy labeled it. “A year ago you caused me the greatest pain I could imagine, to show me that I can survive anything, even if I didn’t want to. I couldn’t take care of you, but you came and went, to bring me love myself and take care of me because our bodies are precious and life is a miracle. ”
