Federal Judge Emmet Sullivan said some of the defendants in the Capitol attack “have turned into terrorists”.
Judge Sullivan said:

Judge Sullivan’s comments are fair. There are some, like the Proud Boys, of whom there is evidence that they came to the Capitol with intent to use violence, but there are others who went to DC to protest because Trump called them there and at one point became radicalized and attacked the Capitol.
The Capitol attack defendants arrested are not political prisoners, as House Republicans like Louie Gohmert and Marjorie Taylor Greene claim. These people are criminals, and as Judge Sullivan said, some of these criminals turned into terrorists.
The next time a Republican speaks about the people in jail for the Capitol attack, bearing in mind that they are supporting terrorists.
If these people turned into terrorists, then who radicalized them?
It’s a question the 1/6 committee is looking into, and it will likely lead straight to Donald Trump.
