On Monday, President Joe Biden announced that 98% of Americans would need the COVID-19 vaccine for the country to “return to normal.”
While publicly receiving his own booster vaccination, reporters asked, “How many Americans will need to be vaccinated before we can get back to normal?”
Biden replied, “97%, 98%. I think we’re going to get terribly close. But I am not the scientist. I think one thing is certain. A quarter of the country cannot remain unvaccinated and we have no further problem. “

The vaccination rate figures of 97% to 98% among Americans differed dramatically from the figures that Dr. Anthony Fauci has quoted. Fauci predicted in March that herd immunity could be achieved with a vaccination rate of 70 to 85%.
The White House has not given a source from which Biden could have obtained these numbers.

With the CDC recommending a booster of the Pfizer vaccine for people over 65, Americans in high-risk groups, and frontline workers on Friday, the Biden government is pushing more Americans to get vaccinated, especially if they received the first dose six months ago.
Something feels wrong in this Biden speech about Covid boosters. The CDC director didn’t announce the booster approval until after midnight last night, so when did the WH plan this event and prepare this speech? It feels like the WH has told the CDC what to do so that they can hold this event.

Could COVID become like the flu?
While the 2020 lockdowns have not returned in most locations, mask and vaccination regulations continue to apply in various locations across the country. The use of booster shots is also being discussed. How long and how many boosters will be needed is still unclear.
Dr. Fauci has also speculated that COVID could become a seasonal problem, much like the flu.
As early as May he declared:
“So it is conceivable that in a year or two or more during certain seasonal periods when you have respiratory viruses like the flu, people will actually wear masks to reduce the likelihood that you will spread these respiratory diseases “,
On Monday, during an appearance on ABC News, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said, “I think within a year we will be able to return to normal life.” He added that “annual vaccinations may be required.”
